Biographical Information
I have been practicing as a licensed professional counselor since 1997. I have practiced in both the private and public sector and am experienced in the assessment and treatment of a variety of disorders for a wide range of age groups. In 2009, I became licensed as a hypnotherapist which has beneficial uses for smoking cessation and weight loss.
I obtained my certification in Reality Therapy Choice Therapy in Dublin, Ireland at the University of Dublin. I received training by Dr. William Glasser, the originator of Reality Therapy Choice Therapy, in 2004. I received my Bachelor and Master degrees from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where I continue to reside today.
I have been married since 1980 and have two daughters and three grandchildren. I am a non-denominational Christian and live seeking only His will for my life and maintaining a close relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
